1. Leo Extended Notifications
One of the great things about other HTC phones, like the Touch Pro and Diamond, were the LED notifications. These notifications flashed different LEDs on the front of the phone to inform you when you missed a call, SMS, or email. Leo Extended Notifications allows the HD2′s key backlights to do exactly that.

2. Opera Mobile 10
While Opera Mobile 9.7 is included on the T-Mobile HTC HD2, Opera has since released the final version of Opera Mobile 10. The advantages of version 10 over 9.7 include visual tabbed browsing, and Opera Turbo, a feature that conducts page rendering on a server prior to downloading the content to your phone. This decreases bandwidth used, and in turn, decreases the amount of time it takes a page to load.

3. Opera Ad Block
Whats better than Opera Mobile on it’s own? Opera Mobile with an ad blocker. Similar to Ad Block Plus for Firefox, this simple file inclusion causes Opera to block most advertisements. There are many versions of the urlfilter.ini file which you can find through Google. The one thing to keep in mind is that the larger the ad block file, the longer Opera will take to start.

4. Resco File Explorer
Resco File Explorer is a fully featured file manager that includes many functions one would expect from a desktop file manager. In addition, Resco has included plugins that provide FTP and Registry editing support.

You mention Opera AdBlock via urlfilter.ini. Where exactly does this file go on the HD2 because all the instructions via your google link are for the desktop opera.
You also mention aebuttons plus but apparently that app fails to map the volume slider on the T-Mobile version of the HD2. VolDpad has similar issues. Any other alternatives?
The urlfilter.ini file should be placed in \Windows\Opera. As for the volume slider, I’m unaware of any button grabbing program that can handle it at this time. That of course doesn’t mean there isn’t one, I just haven’t seen it. Thanks.
It seems that Opera10 for Windows Mobile touch phones does not support mult-touch or pinch-zoom during browsing. Is there a way to enable it?

Love the cookie’s app! Awesome, amazing app. Glad I was able to figure it out before I broke down and got the sbp shell, that is $30.00 bucks on the windows market…for real. Although, props to the person who degined this app (Cookie’s) and they should put it out on the Window’s Market and make some money!!!!
I heard that spb shell is available as a .cab file in some website, just haven’t found it yet )
Cookie’s app is better still, spb shell changes everything around, and it is hard to find your settings and other features. Some important stuff just gets imposiible to find with spb. I like the original theme of my HD2 better.
