We thought it would be good to share some progress we’ve been making on an application for Windows Phone 7.

XBOX Live Notifications fills the one void that WP7 has with XBOX Live, quick access and notifications for friends signing on and off. It provides true push notifications when selected friends sign on, and updates a Live Tile with the number of users online.

While the application and back-end servers are fully functional, XBOX Live Notifications is in Beta until we gain acceptance into the XBOX Community Developer Program (which could take forever), or a suitable partner interested in a permanent relationship comes along who already has access.
